Grants

OVCRD, through the Project Management and Resource Generation Office (PMRGO), grants funding to research projects and theses or dissertations in any discipline. The OVCRD-funded grants are the: 1. Outright Research  Grants; 2. Thesis and Dissertation Grants ; 4.PhD Incentive Awards;  5. Open Grants; 6.Source of Solutions Grants (Special Grants).

Thru OVCRD, the UP System also grants funding to support inter-/multi-disciplinary research programs/projects related to the BOR-approved list of emerging fields in S&T. This grant is called the Emerging S&T Fields Grant.

Other UP System Grants offered thru OVCRD are: 1. Creative Work and Research  Grant; 2. Textbook Writing Grant; 3. Post-Doctoral Grant; and 4. Sabbatical Research Grant. Guidelines and application forms for these grants can be downloaded from HERE.

The Office of the Chancellor, thru OVCRD, also offers the Faculty Development Fund for Journal Page Charges, which grants funding for articles to be published in journals accredited by UP to be acceptable for tenure purposes. Guidelines and Application Forms can be downloaded from HERE.
